If you are not sure what to make for the holiday get-together, make this roasted brussels sprouts and french beans with pecans and dried cranberries side dish.

Not only is this recipe easy to make, delicious but it’s also visually stunning!

The roasted vegetables are perfectly cooked and you get crunch from the pecans and sweetness from the dried cranberries.

Brussels sprouts and French beans can be boiled or steamed but I much prefer to roast them as it results in the best flavor and texture!

As the vegetables roast at a high temperature, they become beautifully caramelized.

Some parts are soft and sweet and other parts turn out crispy!

This results in the most satisfying savory and sweet flavor combination.

Brussels sprouts contain high levels of many nutrients, including vitamin K and vitamin C!

These vibrant little sprouts are a member of the Brassicaceae family of vegetables and closely related to kale, cauliflower, and mustard greens.

Unlike green beans, French beans are more slender and slightly more tender.

Often times, they also do not require the ends to be trimmed before cooking.

French Beans and green beans area good source of dietary fiber and can help regulate sugar, improves heart health and bone health.

Whether it’s time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other winter holiday – this side dish is a great idea.
