As a full-time photographer, recipe developer and food content creator, my focus is on creating visually stunning, fun and story-telling recipe, product, lifestyle photography and videography. I have a 10+ year marketing background and have been a full- time photographer working with numerous food brands and agencies since 2017. Based in Miami, FL and operating under foodbyjonister LLC.

This site was born back in 2015 as I wanted to share easy, mostly healthy and always colorful recipes for the everyday cook and baker!

Seasonal produce, health trends and cravings are what give me inspiration to create beautiful eats.

Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, love meat or love to bake, you can find something that suits you on my site.

About Joni

Food has always been a big part of my upbringing and has shown me that it can help create a human connection anywhere in the world.

I grew up in Germany and moved to Florida with my family at age 15. While living in Europe, my family and I would travel all over and I got to experience different dishes, flavors and traditions.

After living in Florida for about 10 years, my then boyfriend (now husband) and I moved to Los Angeles, CA where we lived for about 3 years. During that time, I grew to love seasonal produce by going to Farmer’s Markets and having some of the best restaurant experiences in my life.

The mix of food, forward thinking health trends, and different cultures is what drove me to appreciate real food, cooking and the magic it creates when sharing with others.
I am now married and living in sunny Miami, FL near our families.

With no professional culinary training and a marketing background, I now spend my days testing recipes, photographing them and sharing everything I make with my family, friends and YOU, my readers.
