An iced strawberry latte for a hot summer day!

As a coffee lover, I like the drink it over ice when the weather is hot.

I still get that hit of caffeine with the addition of that summer flair with the strawberries.

You can easily make your won strawberry milk with just 3 ingredients.

I am using sugar in this recipe to macerate the strawberries.

The texture and sweetness of the sugar not only mushes the strawberries into a jam-like consistency but it also draws out the beautiful and sweet juices.

This is what sweetens the iced latte.

Since I am not blending the strawberries and am left with small chunks, I recommend using a wide straw for this drink.

Alternatively, you can also mush them well the strain through a sieve before adding to your glass.

I like a strong coffee flavor and therefore prefer espresso for this latte, however, you can also use coffee!

If your espresso or coffee is hot, use more ice cubes that you think.

As the hot coffee is poured into the cup, the ice cubes melt a bit as it cools down the liquid.

I love making this iced strawberry latte with oat milk but you can use any milk of your choice.

If you prefer matcha over coffee, try my strawberry milk matcha.
