Creamy, sweet and refreshing pineapple smoothie bowl to transport you to the beach!

I love a creamy and fruity smoothie when it’s hot outside and I am looking to cool down and have a nice sweet treat.

The secret to a good smoothie consistency that can be poured into a bowl and eaten with a spoon is using frozen ingredients and less liquid.

You can call this your favorite tropical smoothie bowl as it has both pineapple and mango!

Pineapple, mango, coconut and lime go so well together.

Most smoothies will use milk as a base but I personally love coconut water for this pineapple smoothie bowl.

Adding fresh lime juice and zest levels this up to maximum flavor.

I hope you give it a try!

The frozen pineapple and mango are the prominent flavors and also give this smoothie bowl its beautiful pale yellow color.

Frozen banana is a must as it really helps with the creamy consistency and also adds the natural sweetness.

Toppings for a smoothie bowl are a must as they add texture and nutritional value.

Chia seeds and shredded coconut are great.

You can also add other seeds or nuts.

Sneaking in healthy seeds and nuts is always a good idea.

This is a good base smoothie bowl recipe as you can add other ingredients like greens to amp up the nutritional value.

Like most of my recipes, this berry smoothie bowl is dairy free, vegan and refined sugar free.

Steps

Done

Use a High Speed Blender

This is optional but makes it more fun - half a fresh pineapple then cut and scoop out the fruit.

Place the pineapple chunks into a freezer safe bag or container and freeze for at least 6 hours until fully frozen.

Also freeze fresh mango and banana chunks.

Now for the smoothie recipe - add the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

Pour into a bowl or scooped out pineapple half, top with coconut shreds, chis seeds and lime zest.
