Pink and vibrant green strawberry milk matcha latte over ice!

This cold drink is perferclty sweet with hints of strawberry and matcha.

And as it turns out, it’s the perfect flavor combination of fruit and tea.

Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, traditionally consumed in East Asia and produced in Japan!

The best matcha powder for drinks is ceremonial grade matcha powder. It is the highest quality grade of matcha that is vibrant green, sweet and slightly grassy.

A high quality matcha powder can have a high price tag, however, after trying a few out there on the market, it is worth every penny!

During the warmer months, which is all-year round here in Florida where I am, I much prefer my matcha over ice.

Adding strawberries to your milk, in this case unsweetened almond milk, is not only visually stunning but is so delicious as well.

You cannot beat the look of millennial pink milk but you can also try this with fresh raspberries or cherries.

You can use any kind of milk your heart desires!

Steps

1
Done

Make The Matcha

Start by sifting the matcha powder into a bowl.

Next, wet your matcha whisk (or use a regular whisk) then pour the water into the bowl with the matcha.

Whisk in a zig zag motion until the tea is frothy.

Done

Make The Strawberry Milk

To your blender, add the wash and stems removed strawberries along with non-dairy milk (I use unsweetened almond milk) and agave or maple syrup.

Blend until the milk is pink!

Now fill your glass with ice cubes and pour the strawberry milk into the glass.

3
Done

Add The Matcha

Lastly, add the matcha to your glass, stir and enjoy!
