Directions
These sweet maple roasted brussels sprouts are the perfect side dish for any fall or winter dinner!
I love this recipe as it’s so easy to make and pretty much hands off as the oven does most of the work.
If you prefer to use your air fryer, I also have directions for that method.
This recipe only requires 5 ingredients and is fully plant-based.
Brussels sprouts can be boiled or steamed but I much prefer to roast them as it results in the best flavor and texture!
As the brussels sprouts roast, they become beautifully caramelized.
Some parts are soft and sweet and other parts of the sprouts are crispy!
This results in the most satisfying savory and sweet flavor combination.
Brussels sprouts contain high levels of many nutrients, including vitamin K and vitamin C!
These vibrant little sprouts are a member of the Brassicaceae family of vegetables and closely related to kale, cauliflower, and mustard greens.
Though this is technically considered a side dish, I think it’s the star on any dinner plate.
It pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, creamy mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and more!
Add this recipe to your Thanksgiving of Christmas spread!
