2 cups Almond Milk
1 Banana
1 Beetroot
1 Carrot
0.5 cup Frozen Berries
0.25 cup Raw Nuts (Almonds and/or Walnuts)
1 cup Spinach
1 Tablespoon Hemp Seeds

Starting my day off with a healthy smoothie is what I strife for most days.

This smoothie recipe is full of vegetables, fruits and superfoods.

Dark leafy greens like spinach contains several vitamins, iron and calcium.

Beets have anti-cancer properties and helps keep blood pressure in check.

Nuts are high in omega 3 fats, antioxidants, and are known as brain food.

Carrots are high in fiber, vitamin K and help with eye health!

The reason why I love adding hemp seeds is because they are rich in protein, fiber, and omega 3 fatty acids!

These are a few reasons why I continually add them to my smoothies.

Banana provides sweetness and also helps me feel fuller longer.

Sometimes with smoothies, adding more rather than less is great an it allows us to consume more vitamins and nutrients!

It is also a great meal replacement, great for breakfast or an after workout snack. Or simply whenever you feel like having a smoothie!

Peel Your Beet and Carrot

Peel and chop the beet and carrot.

Chopping the hard vegetables will help your blender better break it down and blend it up.

Get your High Speed Blender

Start by adding the almond milk then add the rest of the ingredients.

Blend on high until fully smooth.
