Pretty and flavorful summer mezze platter!

This appetizer board has a mediterranean flare with a mix of store-bought and homemade ingredients.

I love to mix fruits, vegetables, nuts and dips for the most visually stunning platter.

My homemade hummus recipe lends itself to customization and for this mezze platter, I’ve added finely chopped kalamata olives.

The whole green olives on this platter are Castelvetrano olives, which are my favorite. They are buttery, mild in flavor and beautifully vibrant green.

Most of you will agree that a cheese is mandatory when it comes to a grazing board. Since I prefer to keep it dairy free, I am adding a vegan feta cheese.

For the vegetables and fruits, I choose whatever is currently in season and/or looks good at the grocery store!

Cherry tomatoes, cucumber and radish pair well with the other ingredients and are also a great vehicle to scoop up that hummus.

Naan bread is a flatbread which is found in the cuisines mainly of Western Asia, Central Asia, and India. It pairs well with hummus and the couscous salad.

I love to add a little bit of everything onto a piece of naan bread for the perfect bite.

Couscous Salad & Hummus

Though you can buy store-bought, I prefer to make my own couscous salad by simply combining cooked and cooled pearl couscous with a bit of sea salt, olive oil and finely chopped parsley.

Same for the hummus, use store-bought or make your own! For this platter, I used my hummus recipe but added kalamat olives then topped it with olive oil and smoked paprika powder.

Build the Mezze Platter

Arrange all of the ingredients on a large platter and serve with small forks, spoons and appetizer plates.
