An easy 3-ingredient tomato sauce that is perfect for pizza and pasta!

Let’s get real, keeping it simple stupid sometimes is best. When you have high quality, fresh ingredients, less is more.

The combination of tomatoes and basil cannot be beat. It’s a food harmony.

For added flavor, I love adding garlic and just a pinch of sea salt.

Since I do not necessarily think of salt as an ingredient, I am calling this my 3-ingredient pizza sauce.

To be honest, if you want to cut down on your sodium intake, you can skip the salt all together!

Use this sauce for homemade pizza or spaghetti bolognese!

Blend It

You can use your food processor or blender to make this sauce.

Add the canned tomatoes then fresh basil leaves that have been washed and stems removed, peeled and crushed garlic cloves and a pinch of sea salt, if you desire.

Blend until it's well incorporated and you see small bits fo green and garlic throughout the sauce.

Store & Eat

You can store the sauce in a glass jar with an air-tight lid (I use mason jars) and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks!

Use this sauce for homemade pizza, spaghetti bolognese and more!
