Sweet and luscious orange ice latte.

Let’s level up the standard iced latte with an orange cinnamon syrup!

Though this may sound complicated, making a homemade syrup is fairly easy and takes just a few minutes.

Adding both the peel and the juice or the orange helps elevate that orange flavor which pairs so well with espresso or coffee.

I love using leftover coffee for this drink but espresso shots or even instant coffee works really well.

You can use any milk for this iced latte. Since the orange cinnamon syrup, it’s best to go with an unsweetened milk.

I use my homemade almond milk for this drink but you can also use oat milk, soy milk, regular milk or even half and half.

Steps

1
Done

Make The Orange Cinnamon Syrup

Add the sugar, water, the peel and juice from an orange and 1 cinnamon stick to a small sauce pot.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 4 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove from the heat and allow to cool then pour the syrup into a jar and allow to cool completely.

Done

Make The Orange Iced Latte

To make 2 servings, add 1-2 shots of espresso or 4 ounces of dark roast coffee and 2 Tablespoons of the orange cinnamon simple syrup and mix until combines.

Pour the orange spiced coffee over ice and add a splash of your desired milk. I use unsweetened almond milk.
