This mango berry smoothie is the perfect pink smoothie sweetened with fruit!
Just 5-ingredient, this smoothie is dairy free and great for gut health with the probiotic coconut yogurt!
I really like a coconut yogurt that is packed with billions of probiotics.
If you are not able to find a probiotic coconut yogurt!, you can use a dairy free, sugar free coconut yogurt and add the contents of one probiotic capsule.
Probiotics are live bacteria that are good for you, especially your digestive system.
Most of us do not have enough of these good bacteria as our diets are acidic heavy (meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, grains, alcohol) rather than alkaline (vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds).
Probiotic helps to alkalize our bodies, which stabilizes the blood pH level. A good blood pH level allows us to digest food better.
I am using mainly frozen fruit for this smoothie as they are available all year round.
Frozen fruit also keeps this smoothie cold and adds body.
The mix of mango, berry and banana is magical. It’s not too sweet and perferclty fruit.
Frozen raspberries are my preferred berries as they are vibrant red and not too sweet.
As a base, I am using my homemade almond milk but you can use any plant-milk for this mango berry smoothie.
If you are not into banana, you can simply leave it out or substitute it with frozen cauliflower, more coconut yogurt and/or dates for sweetness!
