3-ingredient iced matcha latte!

Grassy Japanese green matcha poured over ice then topped with milk.

Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, traditionally consumed in East Asia and produced in Japan!

The best matcha powder for drinks is ceremonial grade matcha powder.

It is the highest quality grade of matcha that is vibrant green, sweet and slightly grassy.

A high quality matcha powder can have a high price tag, however, after trying a few out there on the market, it is worth every penny!

During the warmer months, which is all-year round here in Florida where I am, I much prefer my matcha over ice.

There’s nothing more beautiful than when the milk and coffee or in this case matcha collide!

My preferred milk options for iced matcha latte are unsweetened almond of full fat coconut milk.

Matcha has a good amount of caffeine so it’s a great coffee alternative.

Traditionally, no sweetener is added to matcha, however, I like a hint of sweetness from either honey or sugar.

Since the matcha powder needs to be mixed with hot water first, this is the time to add your sweetener as well so it is fully incorporated.

SOOOOO pretty! That is just gorgeous, and matcha is our favorite, so healthy! But I haven’t made iced yet, so thank you for this recipe! When the heat returns, I’m on it!

Love matcha any which way, this is a great way to enjoy it cold! Looks delicious – I think I could enjoy this any time of year!

Oh I have been wanting to make my own iced matcha lattes… I didn’t know it was so easy to make!

I love recipes that are low on ingredients. When you say “3 ingredients” I hear “easy and quick” and that is what I need.
