A rich, not too sweet and super easy to make Homemade Hot Chocolate!

This hot chocolate only has only 4 ingredients, some hot water and some milk.

It takes less than 5 minutes to make and is the most cozy evening treat!

I prefer non-dairy milk, and usually have some homemade almond milk in my refrigerator, I love adding some foamy almond milk on top. It’s much better than marshmallows in my opinion.

You can see in the video how beautifully my homemade almond milk foams. It’s the perfect creamy and luscious topping for the hot chocolates.

Steps

1
Done

Make The Hot Chocolate

To a large bowl or measuring cup, add the chopped chocolate, cocoa powder sugar and salt and pour over the hot water.

Allow the hot water to melt the chocolate for 20-30 seconds then whisk well until everything is dissolved.

2
Done

Pour Into Mugs

Pour the hot chocolate mixture into your mugs then top with steamed or foamed milk and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
