These honey mustard chicken sliders are a crowd pleaser and are so fun to eat!

You can use a rotisserie chicken to make it easy on yourself or spend 10 minutes to make flavorful and juicy chicken tenders yourself.

This step is worth the effort!

The chicken tenders are seasoned then cooked in the pan to lock in flavor and juiciness.

Everything else is assembles on the slider buns then toasted in the oven to melt the cheese and toast the buns.

The honey mustard is key as it compliments the seasoned chicken and cheese well.

You can use store-bought honey mustard or simply add a couple of spoonfuls of honey to your favorite mustard and mix it well.

I like to level up the top buns by brushing them with a seasoned butter but this step is optional as well.

Lastly, for some color and freshness, I add sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

You can also serve these chicken sliders alongside a simple mayo and ketchup dip.

A few pickles and chips on the side is also a good addition!

Steps

1
Done

Seasoned Chicken

Season the chicken tenders and pan fry with about 2 Tablespoons of cooking oil until fully cooked through.

Transfer the chicken to a cutting board to cool and roughly chop.

2
Done

Seasoned Butter Slider Buns

Add the butter to a small pot with the minced garlic and Italian seasoning.

Melt on low to avoid burning the garlic.

Remove from the heat, mix and set aside.

Cut the mini slider buns in half to create top and bottom halves and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.

3
Done

Add Topping and Build Sliders

Add the bottom buns to one of the baking sheets and top them with mayonnaise, cooked chicken, honey mustard, and grated cheese.

Add the top buns to the second baking sheet and brush with the garlic butter mix.

Toast both under the broiler on low until the cheese has melted and the top buns have browned slightly.

This only takes a few minutes, be sure to keep your eye on it.

Remove from the oven, and add sliced tomato, shredded lettuce to the bottom buns then top with the top half of the buns and serve.
