Fresh medjool dates are great and I recommend buying the ones with the pit as it keeps them fresher longer.
Look for plump and soft dates that are not dry.
We’re keeping it dairy free with my homemade almond milk but you can use any kind of milk you like.
This dirty date shake also tasted great with soy milk, oat milk or even hemp milk!
Adding collagen powder makes this shake very creamy and frothy but you can skip this ingredient to keep it vegan.
Collagen has the ability to promote glowing and vibrant skin and is its essential protein provides elasticity to the skin, helping it to appear more youthful and healthy!
Blending the ingredients with ice makes this drink incredible refreshing.
You can also serve it over ice for a thinner consistency.
