How excited are you? Christmas time is here and it’s time to make bark!

Making chocolate bark is one of the easiest things ever and it gives you the opportunity to add whatever you like, get creative!

I’m sticking to the Christmas colors red and green. I love nuts and seeds and think it really compliments the chocolate as well. Whatever you have in your pantry, chop it up and sprinkle it over the chocolate.

For the chocolate, you can use any kind you like. I am using a mix of milk and dark chocolate.

Steps

1
Done

Melt The Chocolate

Chop your chocolate into bits, add to a large heat proof bowl and place it over a pot with 2-3 inches of hot, boiling water.

Using this double boiler method, melt your chocolate.

Next, add the melted chocolate to a parchment lined baking sheet.

Using a spoon, rubber spatula or an off set spatula, spread the chocolate evenly to create a thin layer of chocolate.

2
Done

Add Toppings

While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle over the chopped pecans almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and kosher salt or flakey sea salt.

3
Done

Refrigerate

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 40 minutes or until it is hardened.

You can use a sharp knife to break your chocolate into pieces.

Store in the refrigerator or a very cool place for up to 1 week!
