Ingredients
- 8 ounces Oat Milk
- 1 frozen or fresh Banana
- 1 Tablespoon Mushroom Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Coco Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Nut Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
Directions
This sweet, creamy and filling mushroom powder banana smoothie is a great snack or breakfast addition.
Boost your brain powder with a delicious smoothie.
This recipe is plant-based as it uses non-dairy milk but you can also use dairy milk or water.
As matcha and hojicha powders are a popular addition for drinks and smoothies, mushroom powder is also up there for a nutritional boost.
Mushroom powder can have several health benefits, including supporting immune function, improving cognitive health and reducing inflammation.
It is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that may help lower the risk of chronic diseases like cancer and heart disease.
The mushroom powder has a mild and earthy flavor. It pairs well with the banana.
To add to the brain power element, I add nut butter like almond or peanut butter.
This is optional but recommended.
As the color of the mushroom powder is brown and it does not taste like chocolate, I like adding a tablespoon of coco powder to this smoothie.
