When that chocolate craving hits, I make this easy and quick chocolate avocado pudding.

This pudding this healthy, clean and decadent. It also comes together in just minutes!

All you need is your blender or food processor. Add the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Avocado is the secret to making a plant-based, creamy and chocolate rich pudding.

This beautiful green fruit adds that creamy texture and since there is a good amount of cocoa powder and real maple syrup, you won’t be able to taste the avocado.

Avocados are very nutritious and contain magnesium, manganese, iron and heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids.

Cocoa powder is made by crushing cocoa beans and removing the fat or cocoa butter.

It is also nutritious and may reduce high blood pressure as it can help improve blood flow.

Most sweet recipes will always call for a bit of salt which actually enhances sweetness.

You may think it’s counter-intuitive to add vanilla extract to a chocolate dessert but it adds another depth of flavor.

Adding vanilla extract is recommended but not necessary.

As a topping coconut whipped cream, nuts and shaved dark chocolate is not only pretty but delicious!

I love serving this chocolate avocado pudding in short glasses to see the beautiful texture and chocolate color.
