Sweet, refreshing and slightly sour boozy creamy lemonade.

The creamy lemonade drink has been around for a while but since we prefer it dairy free around here, I am using sweetened condensed coconut milk instead.

What’s so great about this cocktail is that it pairs well with various liquors. I prefer tequila or vodka.

This recipe only requires 4 ingredients and ice cubes.

Everything is added to a blender then combined for a creamy and slushy consistency.

Unlike regular sweetened condensed milk, sweetened condensed coconut milk is dairy free and vegan.

This product is thick and sweet, it’s made from coconut milk, water, sugar and usually a thickener.

Sweetened condensed coconut milk is great to use for drinks, desserts and baking.

If you cannot find this ingredient, you can use full fat coconut milk and 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup instead. It will be similar but not the same.

Though one of the main ingredients is coconut based, the coconut flavor is very subtle. It’s mostly sweet and lemon-y.

If you like using coconut milk in recipes, you can find all kinds on my website.

Pour the boozy creamy lemonade into tall glasses, serve with a straw and garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.
