Pretty in pink berry smoothie bowl for the hot summer months!
I love a creamy and fruity smoothie when it’s hot outside and I am looking to cool down and have a nice sweet treat.
The secret to a good smoothie consistency that can be poured into a bowl and eaten with a spoon is using frozen ingredients and less liquid.
Frozen raspberries and strawberries are the dominant flavor and provide that beautiful pale pink color.
Frozen banana is a must as it really helps with the creamy consistency and also adds the natural sweetness.
I like adding chia seeds for a bit of texture and that added fiber.
Sneaking in healthy seeds and nuts is always a good idea.
This is a good base smoothie bowl recipe as you can add other ingredients like greens to amp up the nutritional value.
Like most of my recipes, this berry smoothie bowl is dairy free, vegan and refined sugar free.
