Rich, creamy and perfectly sweet banana date smoothie!
I love a good smoothie, especially after a workout and completing chores.
When I have plump and juicy dates on hand, I almost always make this banana date smoothie.
To keep it refreshing, I use frozen banana to make this smoothie.
I buy bananas, cut them into rounds and freeze them so I am well stocked and am always smoothie ready!
You can also use fresh bananas and add a couple of ice cubes.
Dates are naturally very sweet and pair well with banana.
To elevate the flavor of this smoothie, I also like adding a bit of cinnamon.
Adding a nut butter like almond or peanut butter adds body to this smoothie and make it a great snack as it’s satiating.
Since I am using almond butter in this recipe, I like to keep with the theme and use unsweetened almond milk.
Alternately, oat milk is also good. Use any milk you like!
