    Directions

Summer is fast approaching! I don’t know about you but I for one am ready for refreshing drinks. With or without alcohol!

I wanted to share this easy yet delicious drink recipe. Good for kids and adults!

This recipe is a mocktail aka no alcohol but if you are feeling naughty, add a shot of tequila or vodka to your glass!

    Steps

    1
    Done

    Get Your Blender

Chop up your watermelon and add to your blender. If your watermelon is not seedless, don't worry about it. The liquid will be strained later.

Blend the watermelon until completely liquified.

    2
    Done

    Strain the Watermelon Water

Pour the watermelon water through a sieve to catch any excess pulp and seeds.

Rinse your blender and add the watermelon water back to the blender.

    3
    Done

    Add Honey and Lime

Get a spoon and taste the watermelon water. If your watermelon is very sweet, no need to add the honey. If you want it a bit sweeter, start by adding 1/2 or 1 tbsp of honey.

Add the juice of 2 or 3 limes. If your limes are juicy, 2 should do the trick. Keep a few slices for garnish.

Pulse the liquid a few times to incorporate the lime and honey.

    4
    Done

    Serve

To serve, pour the watermelon mix into your cups, about half way full.

Next, add ice (I love crushed ice for this drink) then top with sparkling water a slice of lime and some mint.

    Enjoy!
