Iced Chai Tea Latte

A Fall Classic...Over Ice!

    • Serves 2
    • Easy

If you are into chai tea lattes over ice, you have my sister to thank for this recipe! She was asking for a simple, 3-ingredient, iced latte drink. You can keep it simple or jazz it up by adding a dash of cinnamon, a shot of espresso to make it a dirty chai or if you are feeling really naughty, a scoop of ice cream!

I am (always) using almond milk but you can use any type of milk you like! To keep it 100% vegan, use any non-dairy milk and swap out the honey for maple syrup or sugar.

    Make The Chai Tea

To a sauce pan, add the milk and heat it up on the stove top until it comes up to a simmer. Once at a simmer, remove from the heat, add the honey and stir to combine. Next, add the chai tea bags and allow the tea to seep for 8-10 minutes.

Allow the chai latte to cool slightly, by pouring it into another container. If you like your chai tea strong, keep the tea bags in the liquid while it is cooling, about 10 minutes.

    Pour It Over Ice

Grab yourself two tall glasses, fill with ice and pour over your slightly cooled chai tea!

You can also make a large batch of this and keep it refrigerated for up to 5 days.
